Today, we're making Tandoori chicken legs. This is a classic dish originating from the Indian subcontinent, that's perfect for any occasion.

Tandoori Chicken Legs

Ingredients:

  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Crushed Chilli/Chilli Flakes
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Ginger powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp English Mustard
  • 1 tsp Chicken Jalfrezi mixed
  • 1 tsb Tomato Puree
  • 2 tsp Tandoori masala
  • 4 tsb Sunflower Oil
  • Half Lemon
  • 4 medium size Chicken Legs with skin, with Cuts on it. You can tell the butcher to do the cuts for you. Just tell them you want Tandoori cut marks on the chicken or show them a picture.

Step-by-Step Recipe:

  1. Add culinary ingredients.
  2. Mix them and marinate your chicken. Make sure you are getting in between the cuts too.
  3. Cover it with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  4. On the following day, start by preheating the oven for 7 minutes at 220 degrees Celsius.
  5. Take the chicken out of the fridge and remove the foil. Then put it in the oven for 20 minutes.
  6. Take it out after 20 minutes, cover it in foil and then put it in the oven again for 15 minutes.
  7. After 15 minutes, turn off the oven but leave the dish inside for an additional 10 minutes to settle.

Then take it out and your tandoori chicken legs are ready.

Note: Set 0ven at 220 degrees celsius for each step.
